At ESTRO 2026, the annual congress of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology currently being held in Stockholm, Sweden, a study on FLASH radiotherapy was successfully presented, with Raycision providing key technical support for the research.
In this study, a research team from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) used Raycision’s SHARP1000 system to deliver FLASH irradiation to the tibiae of neonatal mice. Raycision’s IMAGING100 system was then used to perform high-precision in vivo and ex vivo μCT imaging of the irradiated bones.

The results demonstrated that FLASH radiotherapy can significantly mitigate radiation-induced inhibition of bone growth while effectively reducing the risks of radiation-induced skeletal deformities and fractures. These findings provide a new research direction and potential translational strategy for normal tissue sparing in pediatric cancer radiotherapy.
The study not only highlights the potential of FLASH radiotherapy to reduce radiation-induced tissue damage, but also demonstrates Raycision’s technological capabilities and innovation in preclinical precision radiotherapy and preclinical imaging.
Looking ahead, Raycision will continue to advance the development of cutting-edge radiotherapy technologies and high-end imaging systems, providing more reliable and professional solutions for preclinical research and translational medicine, while supporting continued progress in precision cancer treatment.
